Crazy days … the oil and gas industry is just doing its job…and its asinine to blame them for a naturally warming climate that itself is not too blame for badly managed city infrastructure and poor forest management, and lack of prosperity due to globalization that means we cannot equip our citizens with air conditioners, that will not run on wind and solar don’t you know!! ……

Anyway…

Its clear that the NetZero journey is reaching an end based on reality and common sense.

Here is why..

Many scientists are now saying that the climate change is mainly natural and not a threat that cannot be fixed with a small amount of local adaption.

A warming planet is a safe planet.. Its happened 3 times before in historically recorded times.. medieval warm period, roman warm period, and Minoan warm period, and times were good, it was the cold bits in-between that we struggled with..

A good book to read is A Very Convenient Warming: How modest warming and more CO2 are benefiting humanity: Gregory Wrightstone: 9781662885853: Amazon.com: Books

The alternatives to fossil fuels other than nuclear (that should be accelerated) are not going to work.

Governments based on this will demand prosperity before a costly mitigation process that targets one of the main resources that has enabled us to grow the population and still feed it.. fossil fuels.

The resource sectors are reacting accordingly.. and staying focused on that direction.

Anything else is foolish, and a waste of our resources talent and time.

I wonder how many years these cases will be in court? It's ironic that we can't afford to put them out of business, because like it or not, the world lives and dies by oil. We can't build "green" infrastructure without it. You're probably aware, the Permian Basin shale oil boom is drying up, another threat to maintaining societal stability. The withdrawal symptoms bear worth watching. https://geoffreydeihl.substack.com/p/the-vanishing-and-reappearance-of
