The Center for Climate Integrity launched a new TV ad during President Biden’s town hall on Wednesday as part of our United Against Polluters campaign to educate the public about the need to hold corporate polluters accountable for their outsized role in causing the climate crisis.
The video asks a simple question: why aren’t mega polluters held to the same standards of accountability that everybody else — even children — have to follow?

Demands for polluter accountability are everywhere these days, and for good reason. But since we know lots of people don’t have the time to read articles, we thought this week we’d highlight a few recent videos that get to the heart of the issue.
Is there someone in your life who is unfamiliar with Big Oil’s climate deception? Any one of these videos would be great to share to educate others about what Big Oil knew, how they lied, and why we need to hold them accountable.

If you didn’t have time to watch the whole segment (or want to share with someone who doesn’t), Climate Power made a great 30 second recap, with visual reminders of the cost of Exxon’s climate deception.

MN350: Big Oil’s Big Deception
One year ago, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison filed one of the growing number of lawsuits seeking to hold Exxon and other fossil fuel interests accountable for their deception.
To mark the anniversary, our friends at MN350 have released a new video featuring a range of Minnesota voices who explain the dangerous impacts of decades of deception from the fossil fuel industry on Minnesota’s land, health, and livelihood.
