The recent victory in Montana was a start, but now needs to clear the state Supreme Court. I have not studied the justices, but am not confident. With the evidence of Big Oil having full knowledge of the devastating effects of burning fossil fuels by the late 1970s and concerted campaigns to bury this knowledge, the people involved should be charged with crimes against humanity.
Completely agree and with penalties amassed at levels that might be useful in mitigating change; not instead of incarceration but in addition to same. Murderers of our entire civilization and habitat of all creatures large and small.
