Great post.

It's ridiculous to try to classify natural gas as clean energy. Even just the build-out of the industry needed to transport and export it it hugely destructive.

Here on Louisiana's Gulf Coast, it just seems like the people with the clout and power ignore the people are are on the ground, seeing the damage. We see fishermen as understanding this better than anyone else.

We just wrote about what it looks like to get their voices heard where it matters: https://open.substack.com/pub/habitatrecoveryproject/p/the-environmental-truth-caught-in?r=52vkqq&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=true

States should be banning new data centers from being built. They're completely unnecessary, guzzle energy, and pollute the water, air, and noise level. And require taxpayer-funded gas power plants to be built? All for the benefit of giant tech companies? This seems like such an obvious thing to outlaw.
